gimme some 'nuggles

i got to "nuggle" with a two year old tonite. it was awesome. dominic's bed was having issues so i popped in a land before time video, put the volume down low, got a blanket, and we snuggled on the couch until his parents got home. he fell asleep and then woke up to get his juice and then a couple minutes later mommy and daddy got home. it was so sweet. he actually called me mommy while we were snuggling on the couch. he is such a sweetheart!

frazzled

i am quite frazzled tonight. my mother and i were stranded in the school parking lot for 2 hours bc my car wouldnt start. heres how the rest of the day went...

-4-6: stranded
-6-7: get the car home, go to jo-ann fabrics, get dinner, and get back to the school for choir by 7
-7-8: choir rehearsal
-8-9:30: work on a project at a friends house
-9:30-10: head home
-10:55: write this
-10:58: post this
-11: off to bed! good night darlings!

i dont get me

sometimes i dont understand myself. last night i was talking with a friend about guys and my standards, and i've been kinda low since then. i dont get it. i have my standards, and i will not waver from them. that is nothing to be low about! i dont know whats wrong with me. maybe its the fact that prom is coming up; again this is nothing to be upset about! prom will be fun and my friend joel is even reserving a dance for me! i have nothing to be upset about and yet i am! well i know i'll feel better sunday when i go to pvm. i always feel great when im there :)

oh give me a home where the buffalo heads roam...

i cant even express how full of joy i am right now... the weekend was truly amazing. im never happy to leave, but once im home and look back at the awesome time i had, i am filled with so much joy! i am so blessed to have PVM and all my friends from there. the experience is never the same, but it is always so amazing. i will be smiling for the rest of the week because i will be reflecting on this weekend. thank you Jesus for my home away from home and my second family at PVM!

its sleepy time down south

i have been so tired lately! i have slept for a huge chunk of the day. i came home from school and started to read for english and fell asleep. woke up, ate dinner, slept for about 2 hours, woke up, read some more, and now here i am with a throbbing headache. i think maybe i grind my teeth. both of my parents do...
anyway... tomorrow/this weekend is going to be fun/busy. tomorrow is the talent show and im helping with backstage stuff. saturday morning i have to take my ACT (yay) and then its up to PVM to help with the SLAM teen retreat for the rest of the weekend. yay!! really fun stuff yo!
