updates!

hi! well the play is progressing nicely and as always its been a ton of fun. its spirit week since hmcming is this weekend. it was country day today and i wore my friend criag's cowboy hat the whole time at practice. yeah it was just a little big ;) and i have hat hair as i am typing. tomorrow's hawaiian day so that should be fun. oh and get this; thursday is TOGA DAY. no joke. that should be... um... interesting. i got an A on the chemistry test that i thought i'd bombed. so that was a huge relief. i got my reading glasses today :P and i love them. oh and saturday i could have gotten seriously hurt. i was raising a curtain at set construction. it had a ton of weight on it so when i unlocked it, i went up up and away on the rope. fortunately, craig and a couple other guys were standing nearby and they saw me go up. they all grabbed the rope and i managed to slide down (major rope-burn on my hands). we all had a good laugh and craig had a first-aid kit in his car so i got bandaged up. that was a fun experience lemme tell ya. and i have 2 huge tests tomorrow... woohoo!

yeah powwows...
so i was doing my devotional last night and i really got a smack in the face concerning a few areas of my life. well it stung for a few minutes but it did a ton of good. i am now feeling much, much better about myself and life in general. boy does it feel good. thanks to all of you who've been praying for me and encouraging me. you guys rock!

i've been thinking... homecomings coming up soon and all of my friends are talking about finding a date or the date they are taking. i just kinda keep quiet when the subject comes up. fact is i've never had a date to a dance ever. i wouldnt say im bitter about it, i just kinda feel that i've missed out on part of the experience, ya know?

well thats all i have to say for right now :)

sleep = good

its amazing how much a few hours of sleep can make you feel better quick. i stayed home today and i slept till almost noon and i feel soooo much better. yeah i have THE cold that's sweaping the nation. fun fun fun. so yeah since i stayed home i get MORE sleep tonight! yay!!

*sigh*

the game was awesome yo. it went neck and neck till the last 5 minutes when Northwest was ahead by 4. then we scored a touchdown at about 1 minute to go, and we held them back. it was very sweetyo :D this record hasnt happened for a few years. hopefully we can keep it up!

TGIF!!

today is one of those days where i can really say thank God it's friday! as i walked out of school this afternoon i breathed a huge sigh of relief. i've only been in school for about 3 weeks, but it feels like 3 months. no offense meant to teachers or aspiring teachers (sarah :D). i love my teachers, im just so worn out already. despite the utter fatigue im going to northwest tonight to cheer on our football team and marching band (more so the band ;D). its amazing. we're 2-0 and they're hopin for another win tonight. it'll be amazing if it happens. i cant remember the last time we were 3-0. well, we'll see what happens. i hope we win but i wont be suprised if we dont :) our marching band rocks everyones socks off. a lot of people come to the football games just to see the halftime show. the band follows in the style of OU. they do high-step and they dance with their songs. now when i say dance, i mean they put down their instruments, shake it like a polariod picture, and a lot of the times get down on the ground. they're "the band that's gettin down and dirty." its awesome :) they have a new show tonight, so thats the main reason im going. plus a ton of my friends and 2 of my cousins are in the band :) it should be an awesome show. what am i saying?! it's ALWAYS an awesome show! :D go panthers! hope you're all having a wonderful friday/weekend :)

this just in

well drama's back into full swing, and as usual, its an awesome time. today was the first offical practice and even though we were just reading, it was a great time. i dont come in till the 3rd act so i followed along and had a great time laughing with everyone. i am the grand duchess olga katrina.... yes im russian. doing the accent is sooo fun :D
despite all the fun im having in drama, stress has managed to creep in. they say your junior year is your hardest and im beginning to believe it. homework hasnt been too bad but i have all my huge classes now and next trimester. third trimester'll be cake, but you have to eat your spinach before you can have dessert. and let me tell you, the spinach im eatin now isnt very pleasant. the consolation is that i wont have to take any math or science next year if i dont want to. i probably will, but its nice to know that i dont have to.
now that ive bored you with talk of school, the main stress (if stress is the word) is from missing everyone at pvm and pvm itself. i know i sound like a broken record but its true. the seperation is really getting me down. i wish pvm was closer, but unfortunately it isnt. so to all of you pvm people who may read this...
